thinkprogress.org— “If somebody can tell me what he did on 9/11 that was so good, I’d love to hear it,” says Jim Riches, a deputy chief with the fire department whose son was killed in the World Trade Center attacks.

Sometimes it just takes a while to sift through the ashes and clear your eyes of the smoke. I'm glad someone in a position to know has come forward with more truth, even if belatedly.
ace,Those are two very different disasters. The hurricane left flooding and long standing problems. 9/11 was a singular event with very few after effects to deal with other than looking for survivors and clean up. I'm not trying to defend what happened in New Orleans (that was a debacle on ALL levels of government) but it's not really fair to compare the two.
azdran,New York hates him now I think too. New Jersey likes him because we don't have to live in the city, we just visit so less crime is fine. It's not our civil rights being violated. (No, I don't like him. I think he's a huge ass.)Down,I don't think he's a threat. I'd love to see him nominated because all the skeletons in his closet (Bernie Kerik is going to jail) will come spilling out. He'll be a laughing stock. I don't understand why he's the "National Security Candidate" just becuase he was mayor when NYC got hit. It makes no sense.
