To all those who claim the popularity of postings critical of the Bush administration is due to Digg.com being of the "Democratic Party" or "Liberal" I would like state that I digg information like this because it exposes the dangerous level corruption currently present in our government. When I see America getting f**ked in the ass, my party loyalty goes right out the window just like Iglesias. I know that if the remaining Bush supporters were able to act that objectively our nation would be a much better place. Considering the track record of the Bush administration and in light of recent events I have been forced to assume that anyone still supporting this presidency does so only because it is of the Republican party. I understand that the Republican party may stand for many important values but the manner in which Bush has abused his authority sets a precedent that endangers the functioning of our democracy for all Americans. If you support Bush because you support the values of the Republican party, ask yourself this, "What if the next president is a Democrat and is allowed to run the country with the impunity that Bush does?" Ultimately, the defender of conservative values has done so in such a way that it has corrupted system to the determent of us all.Simply because you place party before country does not mean that I place party before country.
Yes, if I worked for someone for over 4 years with raving performance reviews, then was "let go" only to be bad-mouthed in public by that employer to save their own butt (destroying my career in the process), I think I would speak out against my previous employer too. Wouldn't you?
