The video doesn't even require close inspection to identify what it is displaying. The layman is most likely intelligent enough to know that a rocket launch can be visible for several minutes and that a meteor is lucky to be captured on video for a few seconds, if at all. Anyone who confuses the two events are complete idiots, or were previously blind.

The meteor story is real but the video is a hoax.An easy mistake for laypeople to make, but close inspection reveals it is a rocket launch.
