In my case, the supposed location of my ISP (not mine) was found. Besides, the map shows a terrain with no buildings on it somewhere in Madrid although I'm near Barcelona.

That seomoz.org ip geolocator is also **wildly** inaccurate. About as inaccurate as the one given by the original poster, and that's saying something.

Pretty close. I'm in Cupertino and it reports me in in Sunnyvale. That's about 1.2 miles away.

This is nice, but i've seen tools that gather far more precise geographic locations from IP addresses.
