sandisk.com — Ok, so the title is wrong, but basically that is the best description for this new MP3 player. For $60, you get: 1GB flash, MicroSD Slot (2GB for $25), FM Tuner, Built-In Microphone, 4-line OLED display, rechargeable lithium polymer battery. To charge, plug into any USB hub or computer. To download, just drag and drop, no special software needed

I bought one last week for $50 at Best Buy (was on sale last week). I ordered 2GB MicroSD for less than $30. Add these two for a total of $80, which is the same price as the Shuffle.I hate custom connectors and custom docks like most of the Apple products require. Since every computer has USB on it these days, I can the Sansa Express at home and work or at my friends house. I don't have to worry about dragging a stupid interface cable or dock along with me.I also hate custom software to download songs. Why the hell do I need such crap. Well I don't with the Express either, just plug into USB, don't need to install any drivers for more recent computers, and then just drag and drop files.More manufacturers need to make devices easy to use, and not require a bunch of custom crap just to use it. I do agree, the Apple iPod have a very elegant user interface and design, but the electrical interface to the outside world sucks. In my opinion, this product trumps the Shuffle.

But this one is about ten times bigger in volume than the shuffle...

If this thing had audiobook bookmarking support it'd be a perfect player. It's still a 9.9 out of 10 in my book.
