topgreencars.com — Biofuel Ferrari? Labeled as the 430 Spider Bio Fuel, the roadster runs on the familiar mix of 85% natural ethanol and 15% gasoline, which reports suggest yield a modest 2% increase in power. That's enough to bring the 4.3-liter V8's output up to 500 from the standard 490 with torque rising 4% and fuel economy improving by 5%.

there is nothing bio about this fuel when indonesia is destroying virgin forest and wildlife the size of Wales per year, and the size of 300 football stadiums per hour!!?! to plant for oil plants...morons buy into this fanatism for the green without actually knowing they are just enriching the same old smart people who drive them through fear campaigns.

Sorry, I was wrong in my previous post. Switchgrass yields a net energy ratio of 5.4 units of energy for every unit invested. That's freakin' awesome.

The 2008 Audi R8 V12 TDI Concept looks far nicer IMO than this Ferrari, and also it already passes European(much stricter) emissions standards likely to take effect in 2014.http://www.automobilemag.com/multimedia/photo_gall ...

The whole point is that people can't get past the fact that GM uses "old technology" in push rods, yet is pushing the bar for mileage and power.
