There's also the fact that we are now overusing the "sex offender" label. An 18 yr old having sex with his 17 yr old girlfriend is lumped onto the same registry as a 35 yr old who kidnaps and rapes 6 yr olds. Which one would you be more worried about if they moved into your neighborhood? Without knowing the sexual offense they committed to be placed on the registry, the registry has lost all meaning.

Well, we sure have some serious double standards when it comes to sex. Have to admit though, I'd rather have my 13 yearl old son have sex with a 30 y/o woman,than my 13 year old daughter having sex with a 30 year old man.
