Wished the DoJ released abit more info, but its early in the investigation and as usual gave a very general description of their intent (thus the lack of info in the article). Cant wait to see where this may lead in the following months.
Looks like they are investigating the prices being LOWER than the record companies want them to be. If this investigation does anything, it will force prices up; and no, the price of an ipod will not go down because of it.
I don't understand whats going on. I believe Steve went to every one of those companies and said "No, $ .99 a song is how it needs to be." I think across the board prices should be lower and obviously so do people like Apple. That way they can sell more... As for choosing the "value" of a song? Who is going to do that for me? I prefer a flat rate across the board.
