Fedora 8 actually works better than Ubuntu on my laptop. I am a bit fed up with waiting for new updates to come into Ubuntu's repositories, while I have noticed that fedora's packages have more bugs fixed (ie. in the case of deskbar-applet which was chrashing everytime I used it, while on fedora it works perfectly)I also like newer kernel versions they provide.
