Many overweight men and women put a lot of research into weight loss. Many of them have the knowledge and the tools to make it happen. But losing weight in a healthy, long-term manner means changing your lifestyle. That is not an easy thing to do. Especially if your working against lifelong habits or are surrounded by enablers. For some people to successfully lose weight, they have to cut themselves off from their current environment. It's not uncommon for friends or relatives to deter their efforts. It's not uncommon for an overweight person to be surrounded by overweight friends and family who do not share their goals. Removing one's self from these situations can be difficult. So it makes sense that a community such as this would be helpful. This site and ones like it are there to provide support and positive change. I can understand getting frustrated with someone who has no interest in being healthy. But why mock those are at least trying to make a difference?
"NAAFA works to dispel the common myths that are used to justify treating fat people as second-class citizens: "If they really wanted to, they could lose weight;" "It's not healthy to be fat.""
Nice looking site, very shiny but yeah, asking other fat people for advice is probably not best way to go. As to the dieting, I've had great results just eating lower fat foods (ie no pizza) and using a thermogenic which raises your metabolism at the same time. In my case, props to 3-acetyl-7-oxo DHEA (aka 7-keto)

Just stop eating for a while until your stomach shrinks. You'll feel full with little food after that.
