Yeah, it's not fair that White Castle gets to "win" every time just because they're too lazy to make a real man burger.

Yes, but when you order the carl's jr hamburger, you get what they list as the serving. When you order cheesesticks from papa johns, you don't get twice what you would from other places.

Watch SuperSize Me if you want to see what fast food does to the body in an extreme case.A big problem with fast food is not just the macronutrient distribution, but the chemicals and processing used to make it.Also, your fitness level may have little to do with the health of your arteries and organs - look at Jim Fixx for example, the 70's running guru who dropped dead of a heart attack at 52.Remember, the goal of these companies is not to serve you quality food - it's to make a buck, which means getting you to consume as much of the cheapest junk as possible.

I opted to keep the original serving size information as well.

Unless if you actually DO live in a frozen tundra devoid of light for six months of the year, don't say that anyone can live on a pure fat diet.

Hmm WOW if you were looking for people to yell at you that was a good way to do it :p I'm not gonna yell, just simply state that in moderation I don't think it's bad but it's when it's abused that facts like those become scary ....

Don't compare just fast-food restaurants. There's plenty of fat laden foods even in gourmet style restaurants. You can find reviews of popular places on http://www.insiderpages.com andhttp://www.getveq.com.

futile comparisons. nothing beats fresh healthy home-cooked eating. blogs like http://www.phatko.com and http://www.burnthefatblog.com are good examples for proper nutrition and dieting.

It's hard to eat well when eating out, especially when you have dietary needs or want to watch your calorie intake. Often food items that seem healthy and are marketed that way are not. It's amazing how hard restaurant chains are fighting to hide their nutrition information. It's hard to eat well when eating out, especially when you have dietary needs or want to watch your calorie intake. Often food items that seem healthy and are marketed that way are not. For this reason, Wellsphere just launched a new service called Wellternatives that lets people find nutrition info for thousands of chain restaurants — right from their cell phone or on the web. It also makes recommendations for a healthier alternative to your favorite restaurant meals, hence the name.
