ergh.org — There seems to be a lot of people in denial about the way things are done on Fark, people willquestion the existance of shadowbanning, for example. Most people have never heard of it. Mostpeople who have been shadowbanned don't even realise it.

Yes. I was the one that made the page. I didn't throw it together in some vendetta attempt against Fark, I threw it together as PROOF of something that a lot of people didn't even realise was happening... either to other people, or even themselves. Considering before I made the page there was only ONE result for "fark shadowban" on Google (and even then, it was unrelated)... now there's at least a page result's full... all pointing back to the page I made. I demonstrate several major issues with policies on Fark. Yes, they say they won't refund your TotalFark subscription fees if you were banned, but the real issue is that they DON'T stop collecting subscription fees from your account if you've been shadowbanned... and there is no obvious indication if it had been done to you. If you were to do something on the site and got punished for it, like a posting time out, it shows up in your profile and in the comments posting area. You KNOW you have a timeout and a reason is given. But when you have been shadowbanned, nothing shows up. Everything looks normal when it works, and when it doesn't work, it pretends to be database errors. Very deceitful, if you ask me. This is the kind of stuff that lawsuits are made of.
