Once you interbreed two species, the product of their creation would not be pure to one specific breed. If cluckens laid red eggs and clookins laid yellow eggs then a clooking/cluckin mating would result in an orange egg.The chick and the egg do not develop at the same time. An egg forms before the embryo starts to grow inside the egg.
