Someone doesn't pay attention to Ron Paul. How do you think the govt ran before taxes? You think a wizard did it? Buildings were built. Govt officials were paid. The difference is, they didn't get paid huge amounts, given secretaries that make a huge amount, nor did they have to take a dozen trips to tropical islands for "research". We can have less taxation if we have less things demanding to be paid. Govt officials shouldn't be paid enough to where they live in multi-million dollar houses and drive 65,000 dollar cars and have 400k dollar houses in 4 other states. They should be paid a wage that is compensation for the work they do. Enough for food, a house, and to live comfortably without having to worry about making ends meet and being able to save some on the side. You know, something that the majority of America cant even do. Govt officials should never live so far above the people they profess to serve.
I was a [male] waiter and I got a ?50 off of one couple [Which is about $100]. It was Christmas though. I made about ?150 that day from tips [$300]. I've found that people just like nice, cheerful people. Oh, and another thing: If you're a male waiter, suck up to those tables of 5+ middle aged women. They flirt like f**k but give great tips.[Added bonus: Tips don't get taxed in the UK, but less people tip..]
