I understand the decision (not agree, but understand). With that being said, why doesn't family guy put this episode in the DVD extras. That would probably boost DVD sales by 300%.

I love South Park because all bets are off with everybody. They'll make fun of anything and anybody they want to. When Family Guy started to push liberal, and only liberal ideals it kind of lost touch for me. Neutrality is important in comedy, Neither Family Guy nor Glen Beck have it.Also, Abortion is one of the most complicated issues and it sounds like they would simplify it grossly. "Oh the paternal parents are dead, I guess that means she should get an abortion..." Yikes. That shouldn't be so simple. In this case that child was the hope of that couple, and I'm sure they would want it to live even if they didn't... I'm not a pro-life religious righter, I'm pretty centrist. This issue is bigger than politics and is one of the most complicated questions today. And the only South Park abortion episode I can think of is when Mrs. Cartman wanted to abort her child in he thirtieth trimester... Which is a pretty funny gag.

I agree with the OP, although I haven't given up yet. I remember the Simpsons going through a similar randomness-period of at least one season, where the episodes were still sorta-kinda funny but they had absolutely NO plot at all, just one random thing after another. I hope things change a buy for FG but I'm still a fan.
