thinkprogress.org— On MSNBC today, Rev. Jerry Falwell said he would repeat his comments comparing Hillary Clinton to Lucifer "over and over again."

I can't figure out why conservatives hate Hillary Clinton so much. She's a very centrist moderate. There are many politicians that way more liberal than she is. She's roughly the same politically as Rudy G.
I would hope that the Bible belters you're speaking of open their eyes and see that they were decieved terribly by Bush's 'good man' image before the next election. I pray they do anyway. We don't need another politician who's somehow convinced the populace that he's a church boy who can do no wrong.
@galoreFalwell only has influence over idiots. If you think he influences a lot of people, I don't know what to say to that...And Chavez was in NY (UN General Assembly) when he made the 'Diablo" comment. By your reasoning, it would be fine for Falwell to travel to Mexico and spout the hate. I disagree.
Javabean- I think you are totally speculating about "liberals" and me. I actually agreed with some of your posts, but maybe I misjudged you. I thought it was funny that Bush was called El Diablo because I think he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Get it? If you can't see that, then you are the idiot. If you think that man understands and respects the constitution then you are just plain wrong. This isn't about Democrat or Republican, it's about common f**king sense.
JavaBean- understand your point. My reasons behind thinking El Diablo was funny is strictly my own personal opinion. I can't speak for anyone else. Being a preachers kid a long time ago, I just remember my parents warning about someone like Bush coming to power, and abusing his power. My biggest issue with him is that he uses religion and fear to get support. I was warned about "sheep in wolves clothing." Anyone with his power owes it to us, his employer, to be fair, just, somewhat truthful and to support the constitution.
Is everyone that easily misled by media opinion and headlines? I'm not a Falwell fan but what I read and what all you are saying are two different things. He didn't compare Hillary to, or call her Lucifer. I think most people would agree a run by Hillary would bring out the conservative voters on election day. Quote:"Nothing will motivate conservative evangelical Christians to vote Republican in the 2008 presidential election more than a Democratic nominee named Hillary Rodham Clinton — not even a run by the devil himself."
