edition.cnn.com — Part of the power of social networking is the ability to form communities with like-minded individuals. But what happens when those communities are offensive to others? That issue is at the heart of attempts by a Dallas, Texas, attorney to have social-networking site Facebook remove pages for Holocaust deniers.

Speaking of the spirit not the lawful implication. Are people really afraid these idiots are going to convince people that it never happened?

@ ivanmarchWe may or may not want Facebook to decide, but they will always be able to decide.Go to any website, pick a Christian forum, they may not tolerate satanic threads and can remove you.The ability of a small business to decide who it can deny business to is also an important freedom.Move to a country with less freedom if you believe that a company should not be able to deny service. You can discriminate based on actions and choices, for instance, you do not have to hire someone who has a felony.

I'm not happy with the "they are a business" argument. Maybe people fail to see that in abstract their opinion is as good as yours. Removing their profiles because of their opinion affects _everyone_, not just them.Did you guys forget about the Dixie Chicks already?

"Speaking of the spirit not the lawful implication."You can debate the spirit forever. It is the "lawful implication" that decides the court case."Are people really afraid these idiots are going to convince people that it never happened?"70 years ago a group of idiots convinced the majority of the population of a large country that killing all Jews would solve all their problems...

Why do you say we're horrible people? Why are the deaths of Jews any more valuable that the deaths of Germans, Russians? You need to look at the evidence while you still can, before these people make it unlawful. Youve gotta ask yourself...."Why is it against the law to even question ANY ASPECT of it?" In Europe and Australia,Canada, you will be locked up for questioning any part of the Holocaust religion. Many of our proponents are Jewish. Its wrong the way Israel uses the lies about WW2 to stick up Germans who werent even alive then. Its wrong to steal land from innocents. Dont get your history from Tarentino....read the facts, from people who dont have an agenda.Read both sides of the story, in a free land. Find out why we say these things. I grew up believeing the same stuff you all do. The evil Germans killed 6 million....but then I did the math..read both sides of the story. I blocked out everything I learned from Hollywood, Capra, propaganda.

How is it Hate speech? The lawyer at the Zundel trial said.."Truth is no defense" How would you feel if the judge at your trial said that? Even if you prove your data....you are wrong. Isnt the Holocaust story hateful against Germans? Why should Germans who have been born since 45 have to pay Israel reparations? Israel didnt exist! Its a scam.
