FTA: As an example, Zuckerberg said Facebook Platform developers cannot yet use Javascript in their applications, because it isn't seen as secure enough for the platform in its current form. "Rather than putting it in our terms of service that you promise not to breach our security and putting the onus on us," he said, "we are just going to open it up slowly over time."no javascript plz and thnx

There are so many apps for facebook that people just keep adding, that its starting to feel like myspace.

I agree that the apps are getting out of control. However, I have to applaud the "Video App". No, there's isn't any rating or view counts like YouTube. My favorite feature is the recording of the video messages right from your webcam and how it's tightly integrated into sending messages to other Facebook friends. Really clean and easy-to-use interface.

I feel your pain, we definitely need a privacy option to block application invitation requests. All the spam I get to add "Top Friends" or "Free Gifts" is driving me mad.

With the new spaming capabilities of facebook apps, nobody will want to use myspace for its annoying advertisements. Alas, myspace is now doomed...
