socialblade.com— Love it or hate it, you have probably heard of Facebook. You have visited the site, seen if it’s for you, and made the decision to either try it out or dismiss it as a fad or worthless time-drain.

Facebook is like the new form of google, what's with all these new groups? ha ha "God still loves me, even if I don't forward those text messages" OR "I don't have enough middle fingers to let you know how I really feel" C'mon, you know any relationship is not OFFICIAL unless it says so on facebook lol... then it must be :)
I totally believe 40% of the US population is on Facebook. Probably 80% of people are of a Facebook-appropriate age (ages 10 - 75). I can see half of them having a Facebook account. Every single person at my office that I know of has a Facebook, as well as every single member of my family, including my grandparents (even though they have no idea how to use it). It's just practical to have a basic Facebook. It makes it a lot easier to stay in touch with a new person on Facebook than it is to have to write down their email address and deal with that. And most people hate talking on the phone.

Privacy is always very difficult in the social networking sites.

Yeah I kind of wish something else would emerge and come on strong. I use facebook for its intended purpose but I'm tired of all the overhead.
