jacknjake.com — This is by far the funniest review I've ever read about the TomTom GPS Navigation unit. Here's an excerpt: "Navigation my ass?If you?ve ever seen the ?TomTom? (www.tomtom.com) ?you have an idea of what I?m about to bitch about. If not, well, visit the site and then check this out."

Where's everyones sense of adventure? How often does life take us off the beaten path? This Tom Tom devices failings could be seen as disasterous, or a quick recipe book for an unexpected adventure. I think it would be cool if they made a device to specifically take its users way off the beaten path just for the value of getting to see and experience things a well planned life doesn't take one to. What's life without fun? What's fun without perspective to make it so?

No navigation system is flawless. They do save a lot of pulled hairs though most of the time.

The GPS in Need For Speed: Carbon now shows shortcuts on your route :) It works good! We need NFS GPS. Who's with me?

If you want "adventure" it's easier still to just turn the navigation off.

Sounds like he chose the "shortest route". You get roads like that all the time on that setting.
