fsf.org — The Free Software Foundation just released the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL) version 3. The license includes a clause that requires that source code be distributed to users of web applications. This addresses the issue with the GPL that allows people to modify GPLed applications and run them as services without sharing their changes.
