I did exactly the same thing, i've had a wiki on my lan for ages now. This is much better though. A nice (but perhaps overkill) improvement would be wiki-style revision control.
Agreed, actually I think there's still a whole set of holes in bookmarking and stuff that I've wanted a solution to. I use a "scrapbook" extension (not unlike FlashGot, I suspect) that lets me catch snippets of text and webpages but I can't share them between computers. A bookmark's not always appropriate; in a forum or something I often just want a snippet of text to use later on. A bookmark wouldn't work in many cases and anyway the site might disappear. I don't think they read minds, but they are sometimes very good at spotting problems and providing timely solutions. I think this is innovation of a high order. Impressive.
Google never ceases to amaze me! This is just so cool. They've to date provided such excellent service! I like their overall design because it's so simple.

After you logged in to Google Notebok on Firefox, you will be directed to the extension installation page. !

Very Writely-ish. It would be easy to expand this to the functionality Writely has. Google Office anyone?
