sengo.com— Inside is a photo of the newest OXM. It promises the world's first screenshots of FEAR, previously thought to be a PC-only shooter, on the Xbox 360 platform.

yup, nothing better than a mouse and keyboard for FPS, FPS on consoles are just plain wrong.... m$ should release a keyboard/mouse like the phantom had, it was quite nice.
Theres me thinking whether or not to get a 7900GTX, but seems like next-gen consoles are getting all the same titles as PC. Hello keyboard and mouse for PS3 :)
Yeah this game is REALLY shader-hungry. Brings a few mint computers I know of crying to their knees, begging for mercy. From what I've heard though, the 360 eats shaders for breakfast. And when it's full, it just has its developers remove them :D
So what do you say to those of us who format our PCs to play FPSs with Xbox 360 controllers? The auto-aim somehow magically reappears, or what?Mouse/key and controllers both have advantages, but neither one is inherently "better." A mouse is better for sniping, a controller is better for close-up. At least, that's my experience. And by the way, I played FEAR with a keyboard and mouse and loved it. It'll be interesting to play it with a native-support controller and see if it controls differently.
@AgretWhat rather average hardware you talking about that'll run Oblivion at HD resolutions. You obviously have never played oblivion on the 360. There's people with $500 graphics cards that get way lower fps at way lower resolution than what the 360 puts out.
@grimeyqutterIn PC its not all about the vid, if u have a CPU that sux it will bottleneck the card. $500 and underpreforming? u must be talking about the $500 cards of 2 years ago wen they still used AGP.

FPS doesn't work with a console? I'm sure there are quite a bit of HALO fanboys who would say otherwise.

@stmicoon the other hand if some of those fanboys had a PC it might be a different story. im sure a % would prefure keyboard+mouse

once the developers get the hang of the X360, the FPS wont be a problem
