backingwinds.blogspot.com — FARK.com, which just underwent a major site redesign, also seems to have redesigned their legal page. Now all user submitted content, be it text or image, becomes the immediate property of FARK.com. A user who takes a photo and posts it to the FARK forums now legally no longer owns his own photo.

I didn't think Site designs got much uglier than Fark... Until the new "redesign" came around. Hire a designer.

The last act of bad modding I saw was in a Photoshop contest. The subject was to make prison amenities for an upcoming episode of fark tv. The winning entry wasn't an image, but a message saying "put fark.tv out of its misery". 2nd place was a similar statement. Several hours later, all the non-photo entries(including the winner) disappeared, and the winner was some dumb picture that wasn't the least bit funny.They can't seem to take criticism of fark.tv, despite every fark liter expressing their dislike for it. I was given a complimentary totalfark 1 month membership,right after a fark get together which I was treated rather rudely. Imagine a bunch of links posted hourly with almost no comments, some are just user-submitted "What ya doin right now?" like they were forum threads. It wasn't worth the money. fark sadly has gone downhill the last several years, and the site redesign is among one of the worst.

If someone hadn't written that blog, he wouldn't have done shiat about it.
