in the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) competition, I completely wanted the Boeing aircraft to win.... it's design was unique, not some of this "right outta the mold" crap.... cool plane though
I think you all need to remember a few things about the F22A. Its not just a dogfighting fighter. Its designed primarily to penetrate enemy defenses, samsites, mars, s-300's, and yes enemy airfields without being detected. And yes its radar signature is smaller then a golfball in fact its the size of a bumblebee. And yes it does give off heat especially firing its eternal weapons but its under a second between missle door opening and closing and its off to its destination. Just a few things to consider. Oh and the aesa rader reaches out over 800 miles while tracking approx 170 diffrent possibles.

Man, we were supposed to have Raptors here at Tyndall back in '98. I can't wait to see one of these things in the sky.
