allaboutvision.com — You may sometimes see small specks or clouds moving in your field of vision. They are called floaters. You can often see them when looking at a plain background, like a blank wall or blue sky. Floaters are actually tiny clumps of gel or cells inside the vitreous, the clear jelly-like fluid that fills the inside of your eye.

Migraine aura are trippy things. I had one once that was perfectly geometric and looked like the bottom of a cut glass bowl (lot of little triangles radiating out on a circle). I'm fortunate that I don't get the accompanying headache though. I normally just rest my eyes, take a panadol and ride it out.I have floaters too. They are worse in bright sunlight. I read somewhere once that if you've been on Roaccutane (I was about 12 years ago), then you are more likely to develop them.

Now and again I see a shooting start. Well thats what it looks like it fades really fast and moves really fast. Its also very small. Like a single pixel. I wonder what that is called.

I am not evil, I am a Christian, I rebuke these things in Jesus' name, they try to make it seem futile, but it is a put on, I think it is just something Jesus has me deal with now, like Paul's thorn in the flesh. I have never taken a drug that was not perscribed to me or available over the counter. If you are angered by this comment(s) you may be under the influence of them now, they affect people's emotions a lot. If you are not a Christian, you basically have no defense. If you are a Christian you will still probably get bothered by these things, it says in the Bible that the devil is angry because his time is short.

And all this time I thought it was a symptom of moderately frequent masturbation.

That is a tracer, usually caused by lack of blood flow to the retina....they can be caused by standing too quickly, getting hit in the head, and more serious, retina detachment

i was just reading comments regarding eye 'floaters' and yours seem the most like what is happening to me and i wanted to know if as you move your eyes your floater follows right in the line of your vision. I have something that I describe as a large kindof snowflake shaped gray thing that follows my left eye wherever I look. Mostly noticable when I read.
