propeller-island.de — All rooms and objects were created by the German artist Lars Stroschen. Much more appropriate than "hotel" is the designation "living in a work of art".30 rooms with an absolutely unique and personal ambience. "Unique" is meant literally, for the entirety of all furnishings and other objects you will discover here are custom-made.

"Ob Homo oder Hetero, alle werden hier zusammen froh!"It works much better in German, they probably wrote it in German first then translated to English.

Wow, those rooms are relatively cheap... less than 150 Euros a night? Definitely gonna stop by there next time I'm in Germany.

I stayed there back in 2002. I don't think our room still exists there - it was still a work in progress back then. It was hit and miss. Obviously, the rooms were a thrill and they were happy to show us around to see rooms that weren't occupied. However, the artist piped in his own music into the rooms, which was just downright wrong. Sounds of silverware dropping laid over bells. Lars would lurk around the hallways - and wasn't approachable. A creepy and exciting adventure to say the least.

I was just about to post a comment about the madonna inn and the cave room as well. Don't forget about the men's bathroom with the waterfall.
