2600's weekly radio program 'Off The Hook,' had a recording from the us naval national observatory phone number the last time they added a second. im happy that i'll be able to listen to a second of silence this year.

I read somewhere that an extra leap day would be added to the year 4000. Wonder if this added second every year will eliminate that.
