I got mine at 10am UK time and followed the upgrade route. It works really well. The new Finder is definitely one of the best features in it, as is Spaces, which as a Linux user, I can't live without. Shame Firefox doesn't quite fit in with the new look chrome on the windows, though.

Don't you know that you can resize the Dock? Just click and drag on the divider line. You can have it display 16x16 icons if you want.

Ummm... you know you can make it pretty much any size you want and as a bonus you can put it on the sides as well.

It's not dangerous at all. Just do it how Windows does: when you cut the file is "greyed out" and when you paste it is THEN totally removed from the original location. If you copy something else before you paste, the file is restored.Don't try to justify Apple here. Not having a file system cut/paste is absolutely stupid in 2007.

I don't know. People love to hate on the new look: the semitransparent menubar, 3D Dock, exaggeration of the active window, and dark grey unified theme, but looking at these pictures, I can't help thinking, "This really is a beautiful OS."
