routers require updates just as anything else.. major security updates are free... and theres no excuse for being a lousy system admin..

"Exactly why i have a Juniper router."...because you can't break into a Juniper router that has dictionary-based passwords or community strings? Much of this has very little to do with Cisco. I hope you realize there's more to security than product selection.
