Actually, I imagine that if a gun were mounted on the suit it could absorb a lot more recoil than a human could, allowing heavier bullets, higher fire rates, and more ammunition capacity.
Oh yah, that I know. But does that mean thats the way it should always be? Does that make the inventions created less or more impressive? In my mind the individual who creates technology first and foremost for the betterment of mankind, not simply because they have a military contract, is more worthy of glory and praise than the one who needs violence to introduce incredible new technology.
I guess i should put in my two cents so here it goes from what I have seen in my life i do think it is the coolest first of all yes its a little bulky but then again is it really? you wrap it in armor the lift load on is it increased with more pistons but don't sacrifice the mobility it has you add a Lil more precise on the hands don't sacrifice the ability for say the soldier to realize when he picks on a soldier hes gonna crush his chest in so you create basically a dome around around the hand that has mini sensors that allow the soldier to respond to picking up say a flower to a car just letting the soldier know through whether its tiny pulses to the nerves not to much that it gives him a jolt that his hand binds up but more of a tense to that area to when the actual exo hand touches it makes the soldier feel it... now that taking care of precise things such as discharging a weapon... (sure he cant be precise with a mechanical weapon like that but ill go into it here shortly) OK make the m16 into either a bigger gun built for a in essence bigger person and make it fire bigger pay loads say 50 cal. on crack in a tight package (matrix thing about their big guns) you can implement weaponry into this thing all you want think weight because more weight more power now armor i guess it heavy think about the latest and greatest in Abram's and stuff it has thick metal plating well taking a 50. call straight on dead center has a lot more force then having that metal plate cause the bullet to bounce of in a different direction... look at the stealth bomber it has no right angels causing it to be virtually invisible to radar but why is that well it is deflecting all that energy of and scattering it. now you put 3 inches of thick metal plating that will help it from being taken down but small arms and some medium arms... nest step is putting the soldier in the battlefield nothing is better then our own eyes... enclose the soldier fully with what ever it be helmet (yes like bioshock) now combining technology into better things is my key points here there is a new thing i haven't looked into about retinal recognition a tiny sensor looks at your eyes and can tell where your looking well if you make the H.U.D. display and throw the latest and greatest in targeting and hell throw tiny little sensors on the soldiers that are running around so you recognize the enemy to the friendly...tiss good no friendly fire i dot have it in the back of my mind yeah the more you throw in the greater chance of Fairlie in the smallest ways... ill get to that. now here's a scenario you need to get from point A to point B in one of these monsters of a coolness just as a joke throw a TOM TOM on crack in it but have advance up-link to satellites or UAVs in the area now you have to get to Point B without dieing or anything you have a hill in front of you that has just some enemies bad on the other side... endurance isn't a problem you can run around them completely avoiding them or your commanding officer is tell you bu means of arrows and things where the enemy is the best most direct way of getting at them or going around them sure that problem is solved now on to our next topic on this thing power... now beings iron man just came out (thank god) tiny reactors can put out a lot of power so you somehow to make that tiny reactor that can fuel it and have enough energy output to basically have a heavy load on it. cool whatever its not that simple tho you need to make it stable make sure it very armored so that if its hit directly no chance of going down kinds like a black box can withstand intense heat and impact. well sure?!?! what about the soldier if this thing is damaged is his face gonna boil from radiation who knows unless you have this source on your back outside with armor throw on top of it i don't know about you but me when i go into a fight I'm not facing away from the battle... the key things we need to remember is mobility, how easily it may fail and how to improve the simple things and also how to make it run for long periods last Lil bit throw in a body suit kind like an astronauts to regulate body temperature make hell make it big enough to where a soldier can comfortably take his arms out of the suit and eat an M.R.E. and get back into the fight (the arms keep moving firing if must) and just for kicks and giggles put ON star in it just in case the whole Hello on star i locked my keys in my mech unit or on star i was just involved in an accident with a bus. how about you guys tell me some more on mobility i cant quiet figure out how to implement a jet-pack or jump jets because fuel and gun fire doesn't mix but yeah i hope this sparks some minds and hit me up IM me at Brihk@live.com on msn or email me at maeuvas6000@gmail.com

WW III will start just because we'll want to use these suits.
