"This movie's version" the "hyper colors" etc is the influence of being based on a comic book, which was based on a movie.... It's not a documentary.

I guess I should say his recent work if that makes you feel better. The RoboCops were his first films AFAIK.P.S. It's nice to see that having an opinion on something is a perfectly valid reason for digging someone down.

Frank had virtually no input on what happened to those Robocop films though, so he can't be blamed really. That's why he was nervous with bringing Sin City to film, until he saw what Rodriguez did in the (now famous) test scene with Josh Hartnett.
