powerpage.org — O'Grady sounds off about a special Apple announcement to be made on Tuesday's Macworld Expo keynote address in San Francisco. In a humorously analogized editorial piece, he is first to reveal the details about how Apple is about to rock the consumer electronics world again with an entirely new product ... HDTV Plasmas.

Digg it!! even though some may think this rumor is crap.... but, i dont doubt this at all. I would be very happy to see a product like this come out, it certainly would not be a desktop replacement.... (theres no way that would have the power to do all of the logic and final cut pro stuff i do on my macs.... but, excel spreadsheets could be freaking huge!! LOL) Its a TV x/ OS X... that would be great... im in the market for a new tv, and i was thinking plasma (although, im a CEDIA certified custom A/V installer, and kind of a video snob... so, i was thinking Pioneer Elite... id have to see what this panel looks like... at the rumored price points, im sure it wouldnt compare...) But Apple has been doing TV for a long time.... in fact i still have a Performa 5215CD with the TV tuner card in it serving duty as a TV in my bedroom!!!!

I think the prices are in line with what's available now. And anybody who's saying they're too expensive really doesn't have any part of their mind grounded in reality.

"That is pretty sad, mikejonas that you actually find nothing wrong with paying for 'coolness'"Except for the fact that when it comes to Apple, that coolness arises from being just that damn good. And yeah, optimusfx, the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the article was a 50-inch version of the *cool* aluminum bezel of my G5's display.

Super, NOT! I live in Colorado above 6,000ft. Here is another Apple product I won't be able to use.

I say bring it on, Apple. I've been waiting for the right HDTV.I would interpret "AirMac" as "Herr Mac", German for "Mr. Mac", since O'Grady wore the Tshirt.

Well face it guys... The powerpage.org site and the Sandwichman article are stil online. If this were true, the Apple Legal Department would have squashed the site already.Maybe it's just a bigger iMac (like a 23" or 30" one).
