Max RAM capacity is going to be the same because the new Penryn chips are still using the same chipset (Crestline) and memory controller.

Right, but the ability to track each finger is done in the software, I believe. I'm no expert on this stuff, but I'd presume that if the hardware can sense that there are multiple fingers touching it, the software can probably track where those fingers are going.

You do realize you're talking about Apple, right? The first company to totally ditch the floppy, the company that's releasing a laptop without ethernet, etc. etc.Apple isn't one to really keep those stragglers in mind.

oh, and with Apple's iTunes movie rentals and on-line publishing of videos on .Mac, Apple effectively says (at least as far as Apple is concerned) BR is dead along with HD DVD.
