I also require sources. Your entire comment is pretty far fetched, from my limited knowledge of the HDTV industry.

With great power comes responsibility, and a costume that leaves nothing to the imagination.

To be honest I didn't really know the difference between TN, VA and IPS panels until I got myself a Dell 2709W (which is PVA). Now I never want to go back to a TN panel again. VA and IPS panels look so much nicer, much better viewing angles and blacker blacks.

What would really be useful (and a good opportunity for someone) would be to have a site listing the 13 attributes listed here for various LCD monitors/TVs: http://www.pixelbeat.org/systems/kdl-26s3000/Another good link on LCD monitor types is: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000991.h ...

Exactly like the push for more megapixels in digital cameras over CCD size, the drive for screen size and price over quality has really screwed up the LCD display market. Why can't we keep some quality on the market?I love my discontinued 21-inch PVA screen and really dislike TN screens.
