forums.2kgames.com— The other way to view this, is one USER has purchased the game. Not the whole family. So why should your brother play for free?

Wow, what are you talking about? Besides the s**tty release, which I admit is bad, have you played the game? It's probably one of the most polished games out the door that we've had in awhile. Now would ya kindly stop bashing on the game? It's pretty damned amazing.
Ken Levine: Makes kick-ass game that should be the best selling game 2k has ever had.2k: Try and f**k up the games sales with a load of use restrictions.Don't these people realize they would have actually earned more money if they had not frightened off the legitimate users by installing spy-ware on their computer? There will always be pirates and they'll always find a way around DRM, so why punish the legitimate buyers?
You know, you CAN enjoy your game without the constant bitching, all you really need to do is NOT come here and waste everybody's time with a stupid rant, much like the one I'm writing now. I can also guess you're probably thick headed and none of what I'm saying here will ever make a difference, but I still somehow feel compelled to waste a minute of your time just as you did mine, rambling on and on about idiots and overzealous posters who feel they need to tell everyone what they can or can't voice their opinion on, much the same way you felt compelled to pop into a Digg story that, assuming you were being truthful, holds no view similar to your own or has any relevance whatsoever to the silly, mundane thing you call your life.
I'm not sure who picks copy protection for a game, whether its the developer or the publisher. However, 2K published both Civilization 4 and BioShock. I couldn't get over how _little_ protection Civ4 had. As a result, this has persuaded my friends to buying the game after downloading it originally, and they're a pretty tight bunch of fellas!
What I'm talking about.... I just think you don't get my drift here. I PLAYED the game ( With is 1000 bugs ), i ENJOYED the game.BUT i think the critics didn't play the same game has i didn't because if it has crashed/bug/freeze like the game I PLAYED it never been that HYPED.I'll bash a game/cie that release s**t for costumer and after give s**t tech support when they KNOW the release is rushed.oh and YES i meet the minimum req and the recommended....

Why not just pirate the game? Seems like it would be easier and cheaper.

Valve did a pretty good job. What's ironic is BioShock IS available on steam but still has SecuROM on it. Tell me that makes any f**king sense.

Uh yeah they do, but they also have ways to circumvent it.
