I remember back in 8th grade I got a TI-89 in addition to my TI-83 so I could have better graphics for my calculator games. Those were the days. And yeah, I've been going there for about 8 years now so the site's been around.
Hee hee, gotamd, that's exactly why kids would insist on getting at least a TI-89 when it came time for back to school shopping. We had a chemistry teacher that started to ban games and would make everybody turn in their calcs so he could check them for game programs.
Ehh. BASIC games aren't the fastest but they have produced the most classic TI-83 games (I'm pretty sure drug wars was made in TI-BASIC.)Plus, TI-BASIC does a great job of getting young programmers interested in game developing. It's what drew me in. Then, with experience, they let go of TI-BASIC and move on to ASM. So don't get all snooty about using TI-BASIC, because I guarantee most of the guys making zelda ports now only started programming these games because of it.

Does every Website in the world that's of some use need to be on digg? I agree with dextro - this is quite old.
