I might have a little respect for figure skating if the scoring actually made sense/was fair.
and it was an ugly one. That also applies to nearly every every triple he did as well. I was surprised he never fell considering how much trouble he was having. More technical difficulty? YES! But what's the point if every jump looks like it's about to fall apart? The only reason their scores were close was because of Plushenko's score multiplier for difficulty. Evan didn't do a quad, but every triple was a thing of beauty and that also applies to his footwork and artistry. It was almost like Plushenko was phoning it in.
