I agree - Blue Coconut, while still a little buggy, works better than ourtunes.

I don't remember what it was called and now I can't find it, but I do remember reading about the utility you described. This is about as close as I could get:http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20060418104832869

Burn is a free, open source program that does 99% of what Toast Titanium does, including video encoding. I never touch toast now because of it. I HIGHLY recommend it.http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21992

For those using the 10.3.9 system, Yahoo Widget Engine (formerly Konfabulator) is really nice for those without Dashboard. Oh, and it has a weather widget from the get-go.http://widgets.yahoo.com

How hard is it to do a little searching to find useful apps. I hate it when people put together a list of apps that THEY think are nice. See, you guys must be the type of people who will be led to water... whereas most of us will be leading people to water. Find your own water.

I highly recommend Disco at http://discoapp.com/It has an amusing UI. By far the most effective burn tool ever.
