2old2play.com — A Gears of War site member was commenting on while the single player game was fantastic all be it short, the multiplayer was filled with bugs and other shortcomings. Soon after the post, Epic contacted him to inform him that he was banned from the forums forever. Nice way to take feed back epic.

Reading the post this guy supposedly wrote proves that this is pretty much not the whole story. Sorry, but there is no way this guy is some adult with a job, and a wife . He writes like a typical MySpace user. This appears to be just some kid complaining, and doing it in a way that is extrmeely annoying. Chances are that was NOT the only post he made that annoyed both Epic and others on the forum.Seriously Digg...if you think that adults talk/write like that, you need to seek out some serious help.

"Remember, this is their first game"Ummm, no it's not... maybe you've never heard of a little franchise called 'Unreal'

From the wikipedia article:"However, some describe similes as simply a specific type of metaphor (see Joseph Kelly's The Seagull Reader (2005), pages 377-379); in this case, metaphor is the umbrella term for making comparisons between unlike concepts, and simile describes the figure where one makes the comparison explicit."For all you know, the OP could be one of the aforementioned individuals. But this is Digg, and it's easier to be snooty than understanding.<a class="user" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphor">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphor</a>

This story is simply inaccurate, or we don't know the full story at least. He was apparently banned because of:"continued trolling, railing against moderation"In other words, this guy seems to have a history, and he continued to ignore the rules.I have seen this before:Troll joins community.Troll starts trolling and breaking forum rules.Troll gets warned.Troll continues trolling and breaks more forum rules.Troll gets banned.Troll whines elsewhere about how he was outrageously banned for no reason at all.Moderators who banned said troll are made out to be power hungry bastards, when the fact is that they are simply enforcing the rules, and they are getting rid of someone who has proven to be unable to follow these rules, and who keeps trolling.Looks like this is just another case of a teenage troll getting banned and crying about how someone put an end to his trolling.

Why would they include his name? It is not their place to disclose his name. If they included his name then the guy could possibly be flamed and bombarded by Epic fanboys or just bored trollers. Negative digg for inaccurate. Inaccurate means adj 1: not accurate; "an inaccurate translation"; "the thermometer is inaccurate" [ant: accurate] 2: not precisely accurate; "an inexact quotation" [syn: inexact] 3: containing or characterized by error; "erroneous conclusions"; "the answer was inaccurate" [syn: erroneous]Now maybe if you said you gave them a negative digg for an omission, then you wouldn't have gotten the negative digg I gave you. Cheerio!

It is most of the story. Read my blog if you want the whole story - <a class="user" href="http://www.2old2play.com/blog-bryantson.html">http://www.2old2play.com/blog-bryantson.html</a> I'm sorry that my forum posting grammar didn't live up to your wife's (maybe wife is code word for husband in your case, who knows) standards.
