When are we finally going to have another eureka moment?Something to compete with the release of the first iMac, or the switch to OS X, or the Mac Mini, or the introduction of the first iPod. Everyone has their pet favorites, but I'd settle for *anything*.You know, release OS X as an open source system for any hardware, with premium versions available from Apple, optimized for Apple hardware? Or the phone, or the widescreen iPod, anything!
And it only cost you $312 to get your first movie on the TV. Also, I am here.. because I am commenting on the news just like you are. I am a techie and therefore I am always interested in technology. I also saw the this story on the home page of Digg and... I do browse Digg often. When a story like this comes up it is something worth commenting on, just like the iMac story was.
If the iTV does not provide upscaling of the video the it is useless. Why try and wach movies from iTunes when a good Upscaling DVD will give a even greater picture quality out of regular DVDs on a HDTV, for far less money.

No, the fanboys and fangirls will buy plenty of movies, not to worry about that.

How did they make them bigger? Before today, there were no 5G 80GB ipods, nor were there 8GB nanos.

Not to mention no Dolby Digtial surround sound. They say "Dolby Surround" But that could be just 2.1 stereo to 5.1 fake decoding
