I just purchased a 20 Gig color a few days ago. It's going back to Best Buy tomorrow.

Geesh, thank goodness for being broke enough the past few months to not throw money into an iPod yet. Now is my chance!Any idea on the release date of these things (iPod Video, that is)?

I for one am disappointed that they bothered to release a video device that isn't 16:9 ratio. Round one to Sony if you ask me. As far as the supposed difficulty in converting video files so they can be played on the PSP. The average 6 year old can do it.I have an iPod, but if I want something portable to play the odd movie, I definitely wont be buying the new iPod.

Did anyone else notice that the little data port next to the headphones is gone? It's the one used by many FM transmiters and ad-on recorders for the 3rd and 4th Gen iPods. What the hell is with that?

How is it harder to format for PSP? Aren't they the exact same format?

i just wish it was widescreen thats all, but i still think its awsome as a music player and external HD.

True with the PSP thing. It really isn't hard to convert between formats. 3GP converter supports most formats (except .wma) and is drag and drop. I'd say that it's pretty easy to drag and drop something...
