engadget.com — So Engadget writer Peter Rojas managed to get hands on with the Xbox 360 for a couple of hours, how lucky. He says that he wasn’t “blown away by every title I saw, but overall I walked away impressed“. Can't wait to get mine.

"I've owned consoles since the 2600..."I agree with much of this (and am probably about the same age), though I am fairly impressed with some of the fancy graphics happening nowadays. I mean, King's Quest was fun, but so was KOTOR... for some of the same reasons but the latter for some additional. Realistic 3D environments, great orchestral scores, and voiced dialogue __can__ be great additions to some games, taking them several notches beyond the old standards. I'm okay with that. What I don't get is the petty sniping back and forth. It just doesn't make sense to me. Yes, people argued about the merits of the Atari, Intellivision, and Colecovision back in the day, but they didn't stake their entire sense of self in those machines. You had whatever looked cooler to you, but nothing was more dazzling than the very notion of having video games at home. I bought a SNES because I thought it was cool. I bought a Dreamcast because it looked cool. I bought a PS1 and an Xbox because I thought they were cool and looked fun. And they were fun--every one of them. I'm sure if I'd bought an N64, it would have been fun too. A PS2, likewise, would have been a blast. All of these game systems are fun to have, and that's what games are all about--having fun.

"If you want to get technical you should know that the cell processor is a more powerful chip."OMFG, that is so f**king technical. Sure cell processor is probably some what more powerful, but it's not even fully developed yet. It'll be released 1 year after xbox's release, so it'll have some newer technology.

So does the Xbox 360 suck because it's MS or because it's just not very good? You anti-MS bastards! If you want to spend $500-600 for the PS3, go! Xbox 360 rox!

ilyag said: "What the f**k kind of a "journalist" does he think he is? What a douchegbag... What the f**k is he talking about? What a biased fanboy."So, ilyag, you know Peter Rojas, and you have such credentials that you can judge his credibility as a journalist. Amazing. I know Peter, and he's a very talented journalist. He created Engadget on his own, and probably puts more work into one day than you put into a whole week. I'd suggest you go out and contribute something of your own to the world, instead of banging away heckles from the comfort of your keyboard.

PS3 = deadPerfect Dark Zero > Metal Gear Solid

Okay, this really had to turn into the "I hate the console you like, thus affirming my security in my financial decision to purchase an electronic entertainment device which was designed to entertain me." forum, didn't it? PS3, and 360 fans are like Republicans, and Democrats, I swear. And how the hell do you know that Perfect Dark Zero is greater than Metal Gear Solid? Did you play it yet? Did you somehow use your magic beans to climb up a beanstalk and drop about 3 months into the future, when you already played the game? NOOO!!!
