news.com.com — When finding your perfect career, don't leave the most important parts up to chance. Writing a great resume and keeping it up to date is essential. Getting your foot in the door requires an organized approach and maybe even a little bit of networking. Wouldn't it be swell if you could do that all from one place?

> Seriously people, take your personal security a bit more seriouslyJust from your Digg username, I was able to find the following information about you:Your name, e-mail address, physical address, phone number, occupation, birthday, favorite color/book/movie/food/music, the type of computer you use, and what types of news stories interest you. If anyone should worry about someone pretending to be them, I'd wager it would be you.

Just for the record, privacy is something that we're going through great lengths to protect at Emurse. As the other repliers mentioned, everything is an option on the site. We plan on adding in search soon, and even that will be something users can opt out of. It's about helping people with their job hunt in whatever way they are the most comfortable with. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for improving our methods, we're certainly open minded ;)

Just responded to your blog post as well.We have the backend for tips and examples, just a matter of getting it online (shortly).Regarding sync, we're working out all the different tiers of accounts. It'll probably be turned off for free accounts, and available at the next step up. Also one of those things that while you and I think is the hotness, for some reason not many other users have been all too interested in it. They're pushing for other features to come first (like groups).. We'll see.

I had a look and compared emurse.com and http://www.getresume.comI like much more http://www.getresume.com, the reason is that emurse doesn't provide any help while writing resume and doesn't have spell checker. If you make spelling mistake on your resume, for sure it will finish in garbage bin. So, if you don't want your resume to finish in garbage bin than use http://www.getresume.com

Just going around and responding to all this spam/fud.. It seems whenever someone mentions our site, these guys come along with their shameless spam. Emurse does in fact have spell check, and does in fact offer resume writing help through inline tips, our blog and personal emails. Just ping me if you need any help :)
