guardian.co.uk — Fans of My Chemical Romance came from all over the country but the atmosphere was more carnival fairground than protest. There are few things that would drag a typical teenager out of bed early on a Saturday morning, but defending the honour of a beloved band from tabloid attacks is probably one of them.

It's not about My Chemical Romance. Frankly, I'm not the biggest fans of their music or their fans. It's the fact that the Daily Mail is blaming suicide on a band, a "scene" that ultimately doesn't even exist. It's like blaming gang violence on GTA4. The media just points the finger at some form of entertainment because they can't accept the fact that there are some kids on this planet that or mentally or emotionally troubled. And using the word poser makes you fail...

Anything pertaining to My Chemical Romance cannot be considered news.My favorite part is when the reporter mentions that the building they are protesting in front of in practically empty.Daily Mail: Fail.MCR fans: Double Fail.
