I wouldn't go for the G3 because you wouldn't want to be sniping because at the range where the added weight of a bipod + scope outweighs the accuracy, you should be noticed by the undead, and thus, would not want to attract attention to yourself by sniping them

A chainsaw is tooo much Hollywood. Alot of splatter and that can easily make you a Mr Zombie too. You want something that separates the head from the shoulders cleanly without alto of blood. Like a big old sword, shovel, or even one of those Klingon batlets. A chainsaw, baseball bat or cricket bat may look cool but one drop or zombie juice and recruit to the army of the damn very quickly.
