And has been in development for.. how long?Version numbers mean nothing. If they numbered it differently, they'd be on version 20 by now..MythTV has been around for *at least* 6 years (the first post on their website is from May 15, 2002). Elisa has been around for, well I first heard of it yesterday..

Why? There are very few ways to create an interface for a media center. I'd like to see them take something that works (Apple TV/Front Row interface, which will have had Apple's UI researchers working on it for a long time) and improve it.Front Row has a shiny UI, but if you have long file names (I.e "Some Show Name - [01x23] - episode name"), all you see is 23 lines of "Some Show Name...".There's no obvious way to queue videos up, or even leave the video playback without it stopping. There's no obvious support for non-Apple remotes. There's no support for watching TV via tuners.[...]Fix all those problems, and have an interface as shiny as Apple TV and it'll be perfect.Doing things differently for the sake of doing things differently never works.

Its because it was done on Linux, anything that compares to something done on Windows that been around for 2 years is somehow better just because it runs on linux. f**king retarted.
