It looks like the CNN URL's are slightly different, which is why it let Amy submit it, because technically, it was a different URL to the same story. The submission linked by @Chadsmith729 has this added onto the end of the URL -- ?eref=igoogle_cnn Whereas, Amy's submit is just the simple URL.... Either way, the digg dupe should've caught it, but it's notoriously known to not catch easy dupes like this.
