Thanks for replying. I am curious how this will not be caused by the government taking them on too. It looked like they are trying to take on the worse of the worse first and by your definition that should drag the others down too.

"Ron paul retards "f**k you too, sunshine. Now that we've done the formalities..." some silly notion that government regulation FORCED banks to make s**tty loans"The "community reinvestment act" forced banks to lower their credit standards for many loans, but that's not the main factor. The biggest effect of government interference in the market was the inflation. Once banks were able to borrow money from the fed to lend out as mortgages, instead of being limited to lending out their depositors' money, the bubble was a foregone conclusion.Keep in mind that the entire purpose of the federal reserve is to rob us by inflating the money. If they do their job cleverly, we just get bled steadily. If they f**k up, we get the Great Depression (or as I'm sure it will soon be called, GD One), and the Great Depression Two, which we're just heading into right now.-jcr

Way to tell the small business owner what it best for him.I think we should put all of the people who think like you in Montana and charge you no taxes. Then we'll also provide no regulation or social services. That way no one can complain.

@stealthc: you should not let your ideology cloud your judgement: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialist_Internation ... Also what do you define as a 'true free market'?
