Did you perhaps mean a cubit? About 18 inches?"Metre" was the original spelling before we Americans modded the UK's language.I now live near the University of Notre Dame, which the locals pronounce as "Noter Dame". (A friend finally got the guts to correct my "notra" pronounciation.
I get the French connection (pun intentional). The Notre Dame in Europe is pronounced "Dahm" instead of "Dame" (again, American habits/preference/ignorance). The rarely referenced full name of the university in Indiana is actually "Notre Dame du Lac" (Our Lady of the Lake).
"We know that within about 10,000 years these formed into small bodies that were about 10 kilometres across.""We know" . . . . "10,000 years"? . . . . No. He doesn't know. He wasn't there.Jesus WAS there.Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Hi Dear all in muslims holy book Quran it is stated that in the time of moses qaroon was a person who was told(by moses) the trick to made Gold from some plant, and he made a lot and lot of gold. After that moses ask him to pay "zakat" charity he denied and then by God all the Gold he made was placed on his head and from that time he is going into earth I think may be this is how gold came into earth's crust

If the asteroid belt is just parts of a planet that exploded, then it should be cheaper to find the gold asteroids and boost 'em this way.
